We are an NGO founded in Rome in 1995. Our organization aims at offering solidaristic support to the most marginalized people and to disseminate a solidaristic culture in terms of promotion of Rights, empowerment of the disadvantaged groups, social responsibility against racism and gender discrimination.
We are a group of women and men, qualified, trained and experienced in the fields of education, training, social working and cultural promotion. A laboratory of ideas, projects and experiences immersed in the daily contradictions, acting for the promotion of rights and collective demands.
We are an association, an open space to consolidate social ties, unite people beyond the origin, promoting diversity through an intercultural approach, strengthening the culture of coexistence, encouraging participation in public life and promote new forms of mutualism and active solidarity. The heart of our work is the promotion of social and cultural development of all stakeholders, in particular Roma and migrants, which is expressed in support of education, in cultural mediation and guidance to public services, in starting to work and vocational training. Starting with an internal model of sharing and exchange of ideas and democratic discussion, our associative action is aimed at promoting constant active integration and participation of all stakeholders, as an antidote to combat social citizenship halved. The action to enhance the integration of strategic subjects, such as associations for social promotion and territorial spontaneous ones, aims to create a new social fabric and develop new forms of governance in the territories, a direct participation of citizens in decisions about public policy and a virtuous cultural integration. To achieve this goal we constantly try to be a critical partner at territorial and institutional level, able to develop innovative design that connects the system and the operational tools of the third sector with the urban tissue.
